Somewhere along the way I received a Global Sisters Award — a recognition that, I’m not going to lie, brought a few tears. Global Sisters is an incredible organisation dedicated to empowering women in business, and receiving this award was a moment that confirmed I really am creating something that makes a difference.
Before receiving the award, I was fortunate to be accepted into the Global Sisters Solo Mums in Business program — an initiative tailored for solo mums like me, offering comprehensive support to help us start and grow our businesses. From branding to marketing, it’s a program that truly understands the unique challenges solo parents face and gives us the tools to navigate them with confidence.
Being part of this community has been nothing short of empowering. It’s a space where solo mums are celebrated, supported, and equipped to turn their business dreams into reality. There is no “why,” only “why not.” I’m incredibly grateful — both for the recognition and for the resources that have helped shape Haven & Harmony into what it is today.
